Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, led by Katy (Wild & Wanderful) and Angelica (Gardening in High Heels). We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds.
This week's themes: Smelling, Wanting, Reminiscing, Memorizing, Completing.
Smelling: Fresh coffee and crayons! I'm on my third cup of joe this morning as I'm typing this post, and my boys are at my feet, playing with crayons. Not coloring with crayons, mind you, just playing with them. And seriously, the smell of those crayons is wafting up . . .there's just something about the smell of a fresh box of crayons, you know?!
Wanting: I desperately want winter to be over. I'm ready for sunshine. And my boys are ready to play outside again. Those kids need to RUN. They love exploring, and I love the quiet time just sitting, relaxing, maybe reading a little, while I watch them play in the yard.
Reminiscing: Reminiscing about my littlest. He is suddenly so BIG! He's turning into a real toddler now. He plays hard, is getting into so much trouble, and is developing that toddler sass. I've been thinking about when we was sweet and little and snuggly . . . it already feels like forever ago.
Memorizing: Memorizing orders, menus, what beers are on tap! In January, I started waitressing a couple nights a week at a local bar and grill. It's definitely been what I needed. I love getting out of the house a little more and socializing with people. Saturday night was slamming!
Completing: Completing my last year on the steering team for my local mom's group. I'll have served for two and a half year, and this week, I made some major steps towards being done. I'm wrapping up projects and having my final meetings. I want to say it's bittersweet, but to be honest, it's not. Sometimes you just know when you're done with something and that it's time to walk away, you know?
Thanks for joining me on this little peek into my week with the Blogger Tribe!
Next week's themes: Progressing, Neglecting, Purging, Wondering, Craving.
