Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup presented by the Blogger Tribe.
This week's themes: Pursuing, Eating, Planting, Wearing, Reflecting.
Pursing: A tiny house lifestyle. Just kidding. Kind of. I keep planning a raid on my house . . . we need to downsize on our stuff and I've really fixated on that being the solution to decreasing my stress. Less clothes = less laundry. Less kitchenware = less cleaning. Less toys = less picking up. All of those "lesses" means more time to enjoy, right? But it's a marathon, not a sprint . . . one room at a time over the course of the summer while Mike's off of work. That's my plan. So this won't be the last you'll hear of that!
Eating: All. The. Food. With Grant's birthday this week there's been a lot of dirt cake, pizza, birthday pancakes, Dairy Queen, and awesome home-cooked meals around this joint. I am so full.
Planting: Nothing yet. Winter lasted SO long this year; my apple tree hasn't even blossomed yet. Today was finally a day you think about planting something. Pansies are my favorite!
Wearing: Rocking the mom romper.
Reflecting: Oh, it was a reflective week, alright! Thinking about my kids, me as a parent, what I'd be doing if I didn't have these sweet babes, how big Grant's getting, how big Roman's getting, selfishness and selflessness as related to parenting, what it's going to be like when they're teens . . . birthdays being out reflectiveness in me.
Me and the birthday boy for a strike off this week (pre-birthday hair cut!):
