Sunday Lately is a weekly linkup hosted by the Blogger Tribe, led by Katy (Wild & Wanderful) and Angelica (Gardening in High Heels). We e-hangout every Sunday, sharing a small glimpse into the past week of life in our own worlds.
This week's themes: Tweeting, Raising, Giving, Illustrating, Restoring
Tweeting: Now, I don't do the Twitter like some of you young'uns, but if we take tweeting to mean singing, I will say that I was performing a stunning rendition of the Gin Blossoms' greatest hits last night. 'Performing' is a strong word.
Raising: My glass to you, friend. Thanks for reading!
Giving: I gave into temptation and made these cherry pastries for breakfast, from the Country Cleaver. Super fast, east, and tasty. And they look pretty too! The cherry pie filling just jumped into my cart at the last trip to the grocery store.
Illustrating: How super cool these round panels are from RP Custom Fabrics. I'll be showing them all off here on the blog this week or next (I got EIGHT panels from them, so I have some sewing to do!).
Restoring: Restoring seems like a dramatic word for it, but we're restoring some family balance this week. Mike is a teacher so . . . summers off! It takes some getting used to when summer comes along, and then when he goes back to work in the fall, that takes some getting used to too, you know? It's just hard to change up the norm. We took it easy and did a family day for the first day of summer (Wednesday) and went over to Ashland, WI for two pretty cool hikes. Which I have no pictures of. Of course.
Once last thing! I guest blogged over at Made for Mermaids this week, so be sure to check it out! <3
